About Argonaut
Argonaut Audio LLC is the brainchild of Sound Mixer, Designer, and Composer, Joseph Vnuck. “I’ve been recording and expressing myself through sound and music since I was forming my first memories. It started with a Casio Keyboard and a Radio shack Tape recorder and evolved into my first DAW’s: Garage Band and Audacity. Now I flow from Protools to Nuendo, shaping and sculpting sounds with various plugins while also recording out in the field on mics of the Sennheiser, Shure, Schoeps, and Sanken variety!”

From the unique crunch of boots walking in snow using styrofoam panels and friction to the strange sounds of a UFO abducting someone using manipulated whale calls. We always find creative means to heighten your vision and find the perfect sound you might not had known you were looking for.
Similarly out in the field or on set, we capture authenticity in every recording. And when the real world doesn’t give us what the scene needs, we’re not afraid to get creative—experimenting, improvising, and crafting fresh sonic textures via the power of sound design to bring a project to life later down the pipeline.
